A traditional hammam ritual — steam, black soap, deep exfoliation
The Treatment
The Moroccan bath, or hammam, is a cleansing ritual rather than a massage — and the difference in your skin afterwards is immediate and unmistakable. It remains one of the most popular treatments in Dubai, for good reason.
The ritual begins with steam to warm the body and soften the skin. Traditional black soap, made from olives, is then applied and left to work before your therapist exfoliates thoroughly with a kessa glove. This is the stage guests remember — the amount of dead skin lifted away genuinely surprises most first-timers.
Ghassoul clay, drawn from the Atlas Mountains, follows. It draws out impurities and leaves the skin remarkably soft. The ritual finishes with a warm rinse and a light application of moisturising oil or argan-based cream.
It all takes place in our private hammam suite with heated stone. You will step out with skin that feels genuinely renewed — noticeably smoother, brighter and cleaner than any shower achieves. Many guests pair it with a massage afterwards, since the skin is warm and receptive at that point.

Benefits
Kessa glove scrubbing removes layers of dead skin that ordinary washing simply cannot reach.
Skin looks clearer and more even immediately, with a natural glow that lasts for days.
Steam opens the pores and ghassoul clay draws out accumulated impurities.
The change in how your skin feels to the touch is the thing guests comment on most.
Moisturisers and oils applied afterwards work far more effectively on freshly exfoliated skin.
Warm steam and heated stone make this as restorative mentally as it is physically.

Who It's For
Not sure this is the right choice? Message us on WhatsApp describing how you feel and we will recommend the treatment that actually suits you — even if it is a cheaper one.

The Process
You relax in warm steam for several minutes, softening the skin and opening the pores.
Traditional olive-based black soap is applied across the body and left to draw out impurities.
Your therapist scrubs thoroughly with a kessa glove, lifting away dead skin. Pressure is adjusted to your comfort.
Ghassoul clay is applied and rinsed away with warm water, finishing with a nourishing oil or cream.
Questions
Disposable underwear is provided and worn throughout — you are never fully undressed. The treatment takes place in a private hammam suite with only your therapist present.
It is vigorous but shouldn't hurt. The kessa glove feels firm and quite abrasive, which is exactly what makes it effective. Tell your therapist if you would like lighter pressure and they will adjust.
Every three to four weeks suits most skin. More frequently than that doesn't give the skin adequate time to renew between treatments.
Yes, and we would recommend it. Book the bath first — the skin is warm, clean and receptive afterwards, which makes an oil massage feel even better. Mention it when booking so we allow enough time.
Absolutely. It is popular with both men and women, and you may request a male or female therapist when you book.
